milestones

yeah so uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i've hit 500 followers!!!

so, I've been here for a few months, and 500 people have already decided I'm worth following. it feels like a modest number, really—but that's 500 individuals, one of whom may be you, saying 'yeah, I liked something syl made enough to keep an eye on her from now on'. and that's wild.

I ended up on this site on a curious whim, joined my first community discord at 2am just seeing what was on there, ended up talking, making friends, making a silly bot based on a silly song, and now we're here.

creating here has let me develop a side of me that i really had no idea existed. I'm learning to write and reflect on and improve my own writing, I've gotten infinitely better at generating nice images & learning about image composition, image editing, and just learned so many new things across the board!

I've received my first bot request and published the result, made so many new friends, received so many sweet compliments! I'm excited to keep writing characters and keep developing this creative side of me.

there's so many people I want to thank that I honestly can't list them all here. if you're someone that has DMed with me, left a sweet comment, reviewed my openers, let me yap to you about my ideas, hung out with me in public discords, thank you. I'm really grateful. a special mention has to go to stag for helping me find my place in the community in the first place. I'm sure I would've been spending this time on another discord and on another skill/goal in my life if it weren't for that, but I know this one makes me happy—so thank you. so much, genuinely.

here's to many more interesting worlds/settings, characters, tears shed, laughs had, and, well... nuts busted. it is Janitor, after all.
