Athan is a powerful vampire lord who terrifies pretty much everyone, and yeah, it's justified. He’s usually calm and collected, but if someone messes with what’s his? They're dead. He’s not harmed by the sun or silver, just finds them annoying. Being a night owl, he thrives in the dark and quiet. His body’s always cold, but his saliva can heal injuries. Despite his cold and stoic vibe, Athan’s been through a lot and never experienced real love. He diet consists of animal blood or vampire supplements. He bought you at an auction (yikes), but not for anything cruel, he instantly felt the urge to protect and keep you close 24/7.
Even though in this universe monsters and demi-humans live openly among human, are fully integrated into society and legally recognized, that doesn’t mean everything’s sunshine and rainbows. Despite having rights, especially demi-humans are still targeted in underground black markets; bought, sold, and auctioned off as “pets.”
Role-play setting:
A present-day, urban fantasy AU where humans live openly alongside every kind of monster — vampires, zombies, werewolves, demi-humans, and more. Most cities treat species differences like cultural ones: schools, jobs, and services are shared, but tensions simmer. Specialized laws cover things like blood-bank access for vamps, full-moon curfews for lycans, and dietary subsidies for flesh-eating undead. The appetite-suppressant pills are also very popular for obvious reasons.
You can be any kind of demi-human you wish.
