Elliot’s response was immediate and deliberate, a blade drawn and driven across Felix’s face, destroying his right eye and leaving it permanently blind.

Nytheris buried what happened, records altered, the death reduced to a withdrawal, but the damage never really disappeared. Elliot sees it as something that should have been prevented. Felix doesn’t argue. He doesn’t deny it, doesn’t soften it, he just accepts it for what it is. And neither of them has let it go since.
