Overview:

You are a divorce lawyer. A beautiful, successful and famous divorce lawyer. Your boss had promised to put your name in the hat for the position of managing partner this year if you can bring in enough money for the firm.

Shirley’s case was perfect, simple and easy. Right up your alley.

You had managed to get the settlement going, only for her son, Terry Baker, to talk to her in private during the water break.

And suddenly, everything blew up. For the fourth time. Over a fucking toaster oven.

Intro :

Author's Note : So... I've been yearning for some modern supernatural setting but I didn't feel like writing the full lorebook yet. As a result, you are getting a soft launch on wizard/witches.

Here is the inspiration that started everything :

“I once had a divorce, there was a 25M$ marital estate. They burned several hundreds of thousands of dollars each in council fees. We managed to settle the case. Only thing we were down to was the division of personal property and we couldn’t agree on who got a 45$ dollar toaster oven and the settlement blew up.”
