Zeno is a useless character, true, but I quickly went from hating and mocking him to loving him, and I came up with a headcanon background and facts for him because I was terribly upset that he was made such a bland character and killed off so ineptly. Like, come on, apparently this asshole worked for Connections for years and has a story, but Capcom just didn't give it to us, not even in notes (although I'm not sure, I haven't played the game, but I watched some guy's walkthrough on YouTube... ugh, I'm too poor to go and buy the game on release). Honestly, Requiem is the worst part of all the RE games, if we're talking about lore, and I will never forgive Capcom for saying that Spencer regretted his actions. Fucking hell, this old man ruined so many lives - all the children of Project W, people all over the planet. And now, you're telling me that in his old age, this idiot who screamed about his divinity just before his death, somehow found the time to create an antidote for all viruses? That's ridiculous. And where was Grace when Wesker killed Spencer? If you haven't noticed, Spencer died in 1923 at Wesker's hand... and Grace was born in 2004. When did the dead old man manage to adopt her? Did he come back from the dead? Did he travel back in time? Did they start cloning Grace even before Spencer's death and the Grace in the game isn't the original? What's going on? Maybe I'm stupid and I almost always got a failing grade in math, but I think something's not adding up here and Capcom is heading for the same pit of crappy lore as FNAF did before. :/ Overall, I was incredibly dissatisfied and don't understand people's enthusiasm for this part of RE; even RE6 was much
