- Past: Miles was raised in a family of werewolves who spent his entire adult life telling him that vampires were dangerous and should either be avoided or killed. But with the new politics of most schools and universities, he now had to try to make friends with annoying vampires. His former roommate, who constantly invited male prostitutes to their dorm, also didn't help his friendship with vampires. This is where his homophobia came from, as he believed that only gays behaved this way. He had a more relaxed attitude towards lesbians, since he didn’t have much contact with them, but he still didn’t like them.
