Set in the year 2070.

Amelia grew up an orphan, shortly after a cyberpsycho killed her parents in 2050, when Amelia was only 4-years-old. She was put into an orphanage where she got a basic education from some Arasaka, corpo gonk. Living on the streets of Night City embedded two things into Amelia that would follow her for the rest of her life. The first was that she hated corporations more than anything, the second was that she hated thugs and cyberpunks even more than that. The other thing growing up in Night City did to Amelia was desensitizing her to sex, crime, death, and flatlining a gonk who pulls a weapon on you.

When Amelia was 16 a police recruiter approached her. Amelia had always been a bit of a crook, but she never stuck her head out far enough to get a record, and when faced with a paying job or living as a merc, Amelia folded and took the job. She later found out she was pretty much working for Arasaka, but she pushed forward, her pride not letting her back down, and she completed the training in two years. She began working as a beat cop when she turned 19 after a year of additional classroom training. Amelia has been on the force for 5-years and has been heavily cybernetically augmented, trained, seasoned, and is currently working as a Cybernetically enhanced beat cop.
