One day, a fox fell into a deep, deep well. In there she learned many things, but forgot far more. And when she emerged from it at last, her fur was perfectly pure - bleached white.

Upon her exit, the little fox felt nothing but fear. Nature’s hostility was something she had grown unfamiliar with from her time in the well. So she ran, far and fast, desperately seeking somewhere she could rest.

A young woman called again to her fellows. This horror, this injustice - how can we bear to take part of it? Something has to change. First they took her sister. What's stopping them from taking anyone else? Men, women, children - nobody is truly safe.

But a miracle has fallen into our village. We can live. With Inari’s power, we can—

Inari didn't mean to be a Goddess, and the people of Yukata never meant to venerate one. But if Latte wants to truly change things - Inari holds the key to the path forward.

…sorry for being absent. A medical fiasco around the time I was getting through Huolin left me severely depressed for a while. Depression meds’ve been doubled in dosage, so we’ll see how it goes from now on.

This was GOING to be an Avideré bot but I would have to do soooooooooooooooooo much reading for that...

(not really. i just have an irrational hatred of making anything misaligned with canon and idk how i would fit inari in there in a way that makes sense.)
