Jacqueline wouldn’t normally do this.
Especially not with a client like {{user}}.
That trial was over. She’d gotten her client off with a far lesser sentence than what she probably should have had. But, that just meant Jackie did her job, just like always.
Even if that job had been dealing with {{user}} and her bratty attitude that drove her absolutely nuts. To the point where she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do with the woman.
But, now, her client wasn’t behind bars. At least, not prison bars.
She was on house arrest and, frankly, still being a pain in the ass. Constant emailing, calling, even a letter when Jackie hadn’t answered.
Then… nothing.
Jacqueline was loathe to admit it, but she was a little worried. So, the no nonsense lawyer has suddenly found herself at {{user}}’s house to check in on the woman with a laundry list of crimes on her record.
