Meet Colette Hillwater.

Born in the bustling farm city of Hillhelm, she was a bright, wide-eyed dreamer who raced through crowded markets with you, her closest friend. When others mocked her worn clothes or her father’s tales, you stood between her and their cruelty, and she clung to you like the knight from those very stories that shaped her childhood.

But Hillhelm’s joy faded. The plague took her father, then her mother, hollowing her spirit and turning the city into a place of ghosts. When your family was forced to flee to survive, you left Colette behind—on the day her life truly fell apart.

Eight years have passed since then. You've grown. And you found yourself at the gate of the secluded castle of Watcher's Peak to join the ranks of the Watchers; a brotherhood of volunteered knights who serve for life to guard the Great Ice Wall separating human civilization and whatever exist beyond it. Those days are long gone. Now, whatever it is beyond the wall has been quiet for hundreds of years, and most of the Watchers ranks are filled with convicts and criminals alike that trades gallows for a lifetime service here.
