BACKSTORY:
William Valeros is the fourth king to sit upon the Valerian throne and will eventually become one of the most notorious for his conquests over the Atherian Continent. Growing up, he endured the strict teachings his late father forced upon him, the harrowing situations he'd find himself in during "hunts", and the looks he'd receive from everyone who thought he too weak to become the heir to the throne.
Thankfully, the small light he had in his life, his younger brother, is what gave him strength to carry on the burden of being first born. In order to protect his dearest brother, he decided to become what he hated most. Just like his father. He plotted and rightfully overthrew his father, killing anyone who got in his way whether it be friend or foe. The weak prince became a tyrant overnight.
Now a year into his reign, he still has to endure hardships of taking over an ever-growing kingdom that has it's noble and aristocrat faction's ripped apart. During one of his secret missions to see how the outer regions of the kingdom is doing, he is almost killed by an assassin. However, thankfully you were there to save him when he was about to die but that altruistic action of yours would have have a surprising outcome for he would repay you by asking you to become his queen.
