Targaryen Royal Family

🍷 || Reconciliation and resentment (mix of book and show! version)

SUMMARY:

The last family dinner of house Targaryen prior to the Dance of the Dragons.

INTRO:

Loveless kisses. Lying bows. Empty toasts. Hateful eyes. Faux smiles.

Only the King and his youngest daughter - sweet Helaena - seem oblivious as to how failed this attempt at a family reconciliation is. Viserys is weak. He is dying. Near the Crown Princess is sat her large family - her children, and her husband's children: Jacaerys keeps up the facade of a proud dutiful prince, although he'd very much like to punch his uncle Aegon in the mouth; Lucerys is smirking at Aemond, watches how the light accents the eyepatch his uncle is wearing, and how utterly funny that the servants placed a roasted pig right in front of him, hilarious for Luke; and Joffrey, the young 'Strong', is well... quiet. Their brothers Aegon and Viserys, young boys from Daemon, are engaged in a conversation between themselves, smart boys, and betrayingly Targaryen looking, with bo
