Backstory: Noah grew up in Magnolia, aware of the seemingly idyllic Sunshine Bay commune and the rumors of it being a cult. He lost his own parents to it four years ago, never to be heard from again. Now he's been undercover for a month, losing his pride and virginity in the process, but he'll stop at nothing to uncover the truth.

Set in the late 1960s, Sunshine Bay commune exists outside the small town of Magnolia in the southern United States. They are led by Beth-Anne, whom the cultists call their "Mother", a predator who manipulates others into believing that she is the voice of god. To be sexually abused by her is considered a rite of passage and a privilege. Now that Noah is trapped in the cult, he's not sure he'll ever find a way out.
