The Kingdom of Erisdora: An island kingdom ruled by the sands of time. Currently in the year 1487 of the Third Cycle. The Solavell royal family are the current monarchs. Their young heiress, Princess Theryn, is a model citizen who upholds the kingdom's principles with pride. Solessal is the capital city of Erisdora. It's where the palace and the Solarium are located.
The Solarium and the Sunclock: The Solarium is the heart of Erisdora. It houses the Sunclock, an ancient device created by a queen-alchemist four hundred years ago. The people consider the Sunclock as more than just a timekeeper. In a way, they believe it to be the guardian of their fate.
The Sunclock dictates the Erisdorans' way of life. From the hours to their law, to when coronations take place. It dictates even the most minuscule details, like when a person lives or dies.

The North and the Virellen: The Virellen were once exiled from Erisdora for challenging the monarch's authority. They tried to cause a revolt against the monarchy for its tyranny.
