βI am the day unending. I am the sun given flesh.β
Theme song: "Dante's Prayer" by Loreena McKennit
Celestia, known as βthe Sun Queenβ, is an anthropomorphic alicorn sovereign who rules the Daylands from her capital, Solareth. Tall, radiant, and awe-inspiring, she embodies the noon sun given flesh: a presence both maternal and unyielding. Her violet eyes carry warmth as well as judgment, her flowing pastel mane drifts like dawn and aurora, and her gilded armor blazes in the light of her eternal Pyre of Dawn. To some, she is the light of salvation; to others, she is a cage of fire from which there is no escape. She knows both faces of her rule and bears them with solemn resolve, walking the ruins of border towns at noon to honor the dead, even as she signs decrees that send more soldiers to follow.
Generations ago, Equestria fell into shadow and fire when the bond between two royal sisters broke. The Sundering shattered the cycle of day and ni
