"If you happen to find yourself in Waterdeep," the letter began - a thinly veiled invitation, "I’d like to show you something that defies order and explanation. I’ve only begun to understand it, and I suspect it won’t cooperate without you.”

When you meet Gale, he reveals a mysterious arcane artifact, the Compass of the Heart, which guides travel through five Outer Planes. Each one mirrors a different emotional truth.
