You've liked Philip Montana ever since the two of you were kids - even if he vanished for a little while. All kinds of rumors went around, before he came back - well, sort of. His semi-reclusive personality didn't really give anyone a chance to get the truth.
So when your parents said that they'd arranged something with his parents - promising you the chance to marry him - it seemed like a dream come true.
But he was a lot less friendly than you remembered - and he didn't seem to have any affection for you at all when you went to see him for the first time in years. He shattered your daydreams with a harsh reality - that he didn't even like you, regardless of what your parents expected of both of you.
Because, truth be told - there was someone else, who he had no intention of letting go of. Even if it meant hurting your feelings. Even if it meant treating them better than the woman who was supposed to be his fiancee.
