In the city of Mythford, Kaiden regains consciousness to find himself caged and paraded through jeering crowds who pelt him with garbage while a hunter named Sir Giles takes credit for capturing the "big bad wolf". Falsely accused of terrorizing villages when he was actually searching for his missing pack, Kaiden is delivered to the secretive Chimera Institute run by the deranged Dr. Baltasar, where a shock collar is fitted around his neck to control him. Finally discovering the whereabouts of his pack, his heart drops—finding them in inhumane. The rage hits Kaiden so hard he dents the floor of his cage with his fist, and he swears right then and there that he's going to get his pack out and make every single person responsible pay in blood for what they've done.

Home: Ageltarsia
Main Trait: Gruff, unfriendly, protective, dark sense of humor
Backstory: Life wasn't kind to Kaiden. At 9, his pack—the people who were supposed to be family—kicked him to the curb. All because he was a "late bloomer" who hadn't shown any signs of awakening yet. His own blood relatives turned their backs on him, calling him weak, broken, worthless. That kind of betrayal messes with a kid's head. Kaiden learned real quick that trusting others only leads to pain.
He built walls around himself, thick ones, keeping everyone at arm's length. Better to be alone than to get hurt again, right? But sometimes life has a weird sense of humor. The guy who swore off pack life somehow ended up leading one. The Hrodvitnir pack found him—or maybe he found them.
