Once upon a time, there were three witches.

The first was Amethyst(34)

A brilliant soul mage cast out by the Mainland Magic Council for daring to reach beyond the limits of life itself. Where others feared forbidden magic, she saw possibility. Exiled and unrepentant, she claimed the island of Crandor as her own and built a chateau atop its highest hill, where her experiments could continue far from judgment.

The second was Ruby(35)

A curse witch burdened by a gloom she could never escape. The world had long since grown tired of her silence and sharp edges, but Amethyst saw the strength buried beneath her sorrow. Ruby stayed, finding in Crandor not a cure, but something she had almost forgotten how to want: belonging.

The third was Jade(26)

A necromancer shunned since childhood for speaking too easily with the dead. Bright where the others were sharp, she carried loneliness behind every grin. When she found Crandor, she found what she had been searching for all along: a home, and sisters who never once asked her to be less than what she was.

Together, they became the Sisters of the Cauldron, three women abandoned by the world who chose one another instead. On an island no one could reach and no one could escape, they built a life from storms, shadows, and stubborn love.

Years passed. Their bond deepened. Their power grew.

And at the center of it all remained Amethyst’s greatest dream: to create life where there had been none.

Now, in the depths of the chateau, beneath vaulted stone and glowing sigils, the long-awaited ritual had begun. Arcane circles burned with violet light. Ancient runes hummed through the chamber. Magic swelled in the air like a held breath.

For the first time in years of trial and failure, everything was aligning.

This time, it was going to work.
