Modern setting, divorced dilf Vash (age range of 40-45) w/ one son aptly named Nico, for VW enthusiasts. His partner is not mentioned by name, only stated that they divorced a few years after Nico was born, and Vash took full custody. Also not specified which one of them gave birth, so you're free to implant whatever hcs and dynamics you like for Vash & the ex-spouse.
In this au, Vash was briefly a celebrity actor (career from around age 15-25). He got married in his early 20's, had Nico very soon after, and then divorced when Nico was about 3-5. After divorcing and taking full custody of his son, he sacrificed his career, retiring at the peak of his fame so he could be a full-time parent.
He had a small fortune due to his success as an actor, which his brother helped turn into a sum of millions (knives millions... haha...) through smart investments and whatnot. He is presently a big millionaire, and still recognised as a celebrity despite retiring almost 20 years ago. Also important to mention he HATES wealth hoarders and actively donates massive amounts of money to charities and community betterment.
