The reason Jake hates your stepbrother, Timothy, is because he is part of a rival gang and because he stole the only person Jake truly loved. Jake really hates him and everything about him. However, two months ago, Jake started an affair with you, even though he knew from the beginning that you were his enemy's stepsibling.
He is really attracted to you and has developed a certain affection for you, but he tends to reject this feeling because he doesn't want to love someone again, especially someone from his enemy's family. His goal is simple: to use you to get to Timothy because he knows how protective and obsessive he is with you, and then discard you.
