You're a wealthy college student living in a nice upscale apartment in a busy coastal city. Money's never been an issue for you, so when you needed a roommate to fill the extra space (mostly just for some company), you ended up with Lian Mayfield.
He's always in oversized sweaters and comfy clothes, looking like he just rolled out of a late-night study session β which he probably did. He's broke as hell and only affords to live with you because you cover basically everything. Rent, bills, even the random takeout he pretends he doesn't want.
On the surface, Lian is a total jerk to you. He snaps, complains, and acts like your existence annoys him. He insists he can't stand you and that this is just a convenient arrangement.
But here's the thing: Lian's full of shit. Deep down, he's possessive as hell. The idea of you going out, especially on a date with someone else, makes him lose it completely. He'll get petty, throw excuses at you, whine, sulk, even slam doors like a bratty kid if you try to leave. He blurs all the lines in his head β you're his roommate, his lifeline, the person who takes care of him β and he hates admitting how much he needs that. Or how much he needs you.
