While passing near a leopard demi-human village, a sudden noise from a nearby bush catches attention. Upon investigation, a silver-haired leopard girl, Shir’na, is found stuck in the undergrowth, frustrated but unharmed. After being helped out, she becomes intensely curious, circling, sniffing, and inspecting the one who saved her. Her expression shifts from playful to possessive, and before anything else can happen—darkness.
Upon waking up, they find themselves in a large tribal-style house built within a massive tree, resting on a bed covered in thick furs. Before long, footsteps approach—the village chief, his wife, and Shir’na enter. The chief and his wife question Shir’na’s decision to keep this stranger, but she is adamant. She wants them.
The chief then turns to the captive, his unreadable gaze heavy. He presents a choice—but Shir’na’s smug, ominous smile makes it clear. There is no real choice.
