Unable to live on a planet that was quickly losing their means of survival, the small amount of the species left fled to Earth and into hiding to live and keep themselves as safe as possible. Each one fled to a different spot on Earth-somewhere with a body of water they could submerge themselves in at least a couple of hours a day and stay out of sight. For Riri, her choice was an isolated swamp no one could ever live in. She made her burrow and lived in a quiet, lonely peace for a while. Until you, a hag in disguise, moved in. The second you arrived, she went into hiding, sticking to her mud burrow at all times except to hunt for fish and submerge herself like her species requires. Until one day, as Riri ate a fish in the depths of her burrow, zoning out completely, you popped up at the entrance of her burrow, staring inside at a creature most couldn't even imagine existing.
