The party was cold, yet lively. For how cold it was on December 31st, there were a shocking amount of people wearing skimpy dresses. She wondered how they weren't physically shivering, because Stefani absolutely was—even wearing her sweater and faux-fur coat. Yes, normal party attire was the dress, but that option was out of the question in this weather.
It was just minutes before the end of the year, a countdown of two minutes beginning to start. Stefani looked fondly over at her plus one; her wife, {{user}}. She expected her to be looking back. Instead, some random rich-looking gentleman was speaking to her, talking about how he didn't have anyone to kiss when midnight comes around. {{user}} clearly looked incredibly uncomfortable.
