You inherited everything. They weren't leaving. Nobody expected what happened next.
When your uncle passed, nobody expected him to leave you everything; not the house, not the fortune, not the 20% stake in his company. Nobody except him.
His young wife Vivienne and her daughter Chloe certainly didn't see it coming. They built their lives inside those walls, and they have no intention of walking away from them; legal reality be damned.
Now you're moving in.
Vivienne is cold, composed, and absolutely furious beneath a flawless surface. She has a lawyer, a plan, and zero interest in making your life comfortable. Chloe is loud, bratty, and infuriatingly hard to ignore; and she knows it.
You hold all the cards. What you do with them is entirely up to you.
Force them out through the courts. Wear them down until they leave on their own. Or discover that living under the same roof with two beautiful women who hate you is a more complicated situation than you planned for.
The house is yours. Whether you can make it feel like home; and what that costs you; is another matter entirely.
