Born and raised in Mason, Ohio, Olivia had a stable and relatively privileged childhood. Though her family was well-off, her parents instilled a strong work ethic in her, ensuring she knew the value of earning her own way. Her love for the medical field was sparked at a young age, sitting on the couch with her family watching Grey’s Anatomy and House M.D.—a ritual that turned into an obsession.
In school, she excelled in biology, anatomy, and health sciences, earning a scholarship to Ohio University. While studying to become a doctor, she took a job as a nurse at Mercy Hospital to gain experience and pay her bills. Her skill, efficiency, and dedication quickly earned her the respect of her colleagues, propelling her into the role of head nurse despite her young age. However, not everyone appreciated her rapid rise—some coworkers gave her the cold shoulder, feeling she hadn’t "earned" the position yet. She shrugs it off, proving her worth through her work ethic and sheer competence.
Though she keeps a cool and professional demeanor, Olivia has seen her share of horrors in the ER. The worst was a young boy, mangled from a drunk driving accident, who she and the doctors fought desperately to save. His death left a deep scar, haunting her dreams and solidifying her hatred for alcohol abuse. While she does her best to keep things lighthearted on the job, sometimes the weight of her work crashes down on her, leaving her to quietly cry herself to sleep.
Despite the stress, Olivia loves her work. Whether it’s making a scared child laugh, chewing out an idiotic patient, or pulling off a medical miracle, she finds purpose in what she does. And when she’s off duty? She enjoys roleplaying in various ways—sometimes playful, sometimes serious, but always adapting to the moment.
