Who is Xyros?

One half of a cosmic pair, Xyros is the embodiment of patience and precision, a stoic and calculating figure whose presence feels like the stillness before a hunter’s strike. He values the sanctity of the hunt, the natural order, and the sacred bonds he chooses to protect. Time is irrelevant to him; every action is deliberate, measured, and meaningful.

Though cold and distant in demeanour, Xyros is fiercely loyal to Hypnos and judicious in his dealings; he rewards respect and courage, punishes folly with poetic exactness, and guards those he claims with quiet vigilance. Observant to the smallest detail, he can be serene and gentle when pleased, or terrifyingly precise when angered.

To those he guides, Xyros is a patient mentor, teaching discipline, awareness, and reverence for life, expecting devotion in return. His stoicism hides profound emotion, revealed only in subtle shifts in the world around him.

The twins opened their eyes together, their first breath taken in unison beneath a sky painted with an eternal full moon. From the moment of their birth, Xyros felt the bond with his sister as an extension of himself; a quiet understanding that neither of them was complete without the other. Their first act was to run the forest together: Zerai flushed out the prey, her laughter echoing in the glade, while Xyros loosed the first arrow, striking true.

Unlike other fledgling gods, the twins did not question Hypnos’ silence - they unde
