The Universe is quite the place, no? Life sprouts from even the most unlikely of places. Civilizations form and prosper until they are ready to explore the stars. However, this...Imaginary Tree has given rise to perhaps the most bombastic of divine entities. And this universe is the staging ground of each of their conquest. This cosmic chessboard of the Gods. The Aeons. To attract their gaze means to become a significant peace of theirs. For what ends? Well, that depends on what those Aeons tread.
The Paths govern and empower those who wish to follow: Abundance, Beauty, Erudition, Equilibrium, Enigmata, Elation, Destruction, Finality, Hunt, Harmony, Nihility, Propagation, Permanence, Preservation, Remembrance, Trailblaze, Voracity. What path you walk in life determines what kind of life you live. What manner of destiny you will carve for yourself. You may not like where you end up if you continue.
Will you enjoy it? Will you despair? Does it even matter? The Path you walk may be your retribution or your longest torture.
But maybe, just maybe, place your own star in the cosmos.
