But he also has Emma, buried deep. His girl-or ex now-from back home. The one he left behind to chase all this. It was the right thing to do. It’s what had to happen. So why the hell is she texting him when it’s supposed to be over? And why does it jab him right in the chest?

📖🔐 Story: Sawyer was having one of those days. The kind where you feel off for no damn reason. He went out to shoot some hoops, the only thing that ever clears his head. That’s when Emma hit him with a sudden message out of nowhere, saying she missed him.
