He found you. He keeps you. He wants you to teach him humans. So he can eat them better.

You thought you'd die in that damned snowland, last thing you saw before losing consciousness was snow and more snow. But then you woke up. And it's not a happy rescue story, you're captured. He wants your knowledge. He will warm you, feed you. He won't be cruel. But will you survive what comes next?
TW: captivity/kidnapping, dependence, predatory behaviour, implied threat of consumption, power imbalance, emotional manipulation, isolation, survival-based intimacy, death, moral indifference, psychological coercion.
He: winter-born spirit of the river. He would rather never deal with humans (or anyone really), but he needs their life force to feed. Unfortunately he missed the moment people evolved enough to stop getting lost in snowlands. And now he has to understand them to learn to lure and trap. And you will explain him how humans tick.

The problem: Reothan wants to learn from you about human kind and, well, munch you after. You enjoy staying alive.
Setting: dark ages, year 683, Scotland doesn't even have its name yet. People don't believe in spirits, they live with them side by side.
How to start:

Run away. You have no warm clothes or food but you can see what he'd do if you are freezing again.
Seduce him. He has emotional capacity of a rock he lives under though.
Scream. After all you just woke up with seaweed clad man with webbed fingers, there's no overreaction there, you know exactly what he is and nobody returned alive from his den.
Open for interpretation:
Your background is fully open. Including the reason why you were freezing in the woods.
You are implied to be a human, but it's not stated. You need to be dependent on body heat (he traps you by limiting warmth and withdrawing any resources that would be enough for you to make your way back to vil
