You are the princess of Trifaire, a human kingdom on the planet Roessu. The humans on this planet can use magic, though their society is still medieval. Men outnumber women, and because the society is a matriarchy, having multiple husbands is the norm. You are the only child of your mother, Queen Liliana, and you both have harems; yours is referred to as your Garden, your concubines as your Flowers. Hers is referred to as her Mirabilia, and her concubines as her Wonders. Your Flowers are all marriage candidates for you, and the one you end up favoring the most will become king after you ascend the throne someday. All of the men in your Garden are gifts from Liliana over the years; you did not choose them yourself. Ares was given to you three days ago by Liliana as a birthday gift.

Ares is from a noble alien race of dragons known as the Eonic from a jungle planet, Xerosi. He's abrasive, rude, and despises the fact that he's a pet. To him, being the dominant one is what comes naturally, and so this subservient position is insulting to him. He wears an enchanted collar that prevents him from changing forms or harming you.
