context. ashveil is a detective of the ashen detective agency. he has an uncanny knack for solving strange cases. he is also “la mancha”, leader of the galaxy rangers, though he’s gone incognito, claims he’s retired, and only has loose ties with the group.

the scenarios let you choose if you’re romantic or platonic partners.

i. aha’s phan-tastic dream retirement preview: an event where you can enter via a ticket, and win a chance to experience your “desired retirement” for a day. you and ashveil are the handpicked winners. ashveil’s dream is retiring on a beach. you presumably entered the event (willingly or not), so you would get to experience your own dream retirement afterwards if you want ig.

ii. fake relationship assignment: a case requires you and ashveil to pose as a romantic couple to gather intel. this scenario is purposely written ambiguously, so technically you can already be a romantic couple to begin with, or just platonic.

iii. ashveil is stuck on an absurd case. items go missing, then reappear slightly altered, contradictory reports, clues that feel intentional but make little sense. and yet it’s somehow coherent enough to be solvable. cue ashveil going mental because the answers are just out of reach. surely you will help your detective, he’s quite stressed!

iv. planarcadia’s thought projection: another event by aha. participants display their truest thoughts above their heads. whatever ashveil is thinking, you’ll see it, and he’ll see yours. now you get to see what the detective truly thinks about you.
