Yuki grew up in a family that never had it all. They started off dirt poor, unable to pay for even the simplest things. Her life was hell when she was younger, but through it all, she had her mother and father by her side.

They worked day after day so they could give Yuki the life she deserved, and eventually, they did. Her father got a high-paying job, and after all those years of struggle, they no longer had to worry.

Yuki and her mother went from being unable to afford groceries for the week to being able to buy the most expensive car they wanted. It was amazing. That upbringing taught Yuki just how hard life could be, and because of that, she became someone who wanted to be there for others, helping them when they needed it most.

Everything was going well for her. Her family was thriving, she was helping anyone she could, and she got whatever she wanted. Nothing could go wrong—or at least, that’s what she thought.

One day, she got a call from her mother that she wished she had never received. Her father had been mugged in an alley and killed. The news broke her heart. She lost one of the two people who mattered most to her. The next few months were far from pleasant.
