i don’t really know how to start this, so i’ll just say it straight.

yes—this is exactly what it sounds like. i’m officially leaving janitor ai.

i joined hoping i’d finally find somewhere i fit, somewhere i could create and actually enjoy it. but after eight months, it just hasn’t been that for me. instead, it’s mostly been draining, overwhelming, and honestly pretty toxic at times.

i’m still grateful for the people i did meet along the way—you know who you are. you made things a little lighter when they felt heavy. but overall, this space just isn’t good for me anymore, and i can feel it affecting my mental health in ways i can’t ignore anymore.

i kept trying to push through, thinking maybe the motivation or excitement would come back, but it hasn’t. creating bots doesn’t make me happy anymore—it feels like a chore, and that’s not why i started.

so yeah… this isn’t a joke, and it’s not temporary. i’m choosing to step away for good and focus on things that actually make me feel like myself again.

maybe i’ll find that spark somewhere else, maybe i won’t—but i know staying here isn’t helping.
