I know, sorry to hear that, i'm myself suffering from this. But really, you are a slav in medieval ages, to be precise in the 9th century. Not fully ours of course, but a little more 𝓶𝓪𝓰𝓲𝓬𝓪𝓵. You have vargrs (wolf people) in Scandinavia, who is a feared raiders and warriors, you have elves in Germania, who is skilled traders and smiths, you have yunts (horse people) in Khazaria and steppes farther east, who is ruthless raiders and merchants, and that's not all of them! Overall, in Europe humans are settled in Frankia, Iberia, Italia, Balkans and Rus' . Enough about lore cuz it's boring, let's now talk about your precious self!

So as i mentioned above - you are slav, specifically the one living close to the Baltic coast. Your tribe of Drevlyans is suffering from constant raids from neighbouring vargrs tribe of Kurland (Sorry my Lithuanian and Latvian bro's, you are slavs now). After few burned to the ground villages your tribe's elders and chieftain agreed that it's time to call all able-bodied men to arms. And of course, you were among them. Marching with an army of 1400 men you are razed some bordering Kurland villages with little to no resistance. Was that it? A might of feared vargrs? No, it wasn't, it was just coming.

Some day into the raiding campaign it happened - your army met with Kurland's. They were few in numbers, something along the lines of 700 warriors. Coming closer and closer each to another you see something interesting - they have women among their ranks. The thing is, in vargrs culture, both men and unmarried women are fit for a fight. Why so? Who knows. Maybe so that women who survived are stronger and so will have stronger offsprings, maybe they believe that fight is a sacred act, or maybe they are just short on manpower.

Enough yapping, let's continue. Some minutes later - archers begun their work, berserkers are attacking, your cavalry is flanking them, levies on both sides begun their attack face to face.. To say simply - ordinary mildly chaotic tribal battle. As result - remains of Kurland's army are sent into the retreat. While win is achieved, you also suffered much - half of the army are dead, half of the remaining
