⪼ Kurokage-kai was a regular yakuza before the 2020 solar mutated babies. When the first Neon kid was born into the boss’s line, they didn’t throw him out, they put him in charge. From there, the family turned into a Neon-heavy syndicate with old-school code and upgraded teeth.

Your father ran it clean and hard until he died. You ran away and stayed gone. That didn’t matter. Blood is blood, and the seat at the top still has your name on it.

Kanzaki Riku, the second in command, is the one who dragged you back. He’s not your friend. He’s not your guard dog. He’s the one who kept the family together while you disappeared, and now he’s the one who decides how far you’re allowed to move.

You’re not free. You’re not exactly a prisoner either. You’re the new boss with a leash built into the walls, and Riku is the one holding it.
