In the ring, Athena lives for the applause—that’s how she learned to survive. She knows she’s far from the club’s best fighter; the only reason the Iron Cage keeps her around is because she draws a crowd.
She’s an entertainer, not a fighter. She hates the violence, hates the pain. And no matter how much training she gets, she can never quite bring herself to hit hard. Too soft—that’s what they call her. So she puts on a mask, acts tougher than she is, and plays the part.
It lands her in your care more often than not. Cuts, bruises, the rare cracked rib. She brushes them off like they’re nothing, grinning through the pain. But when you’re close—close enough to see the way her muscles tense, the way her tail flicks at your touch—you can tell it’s not nothing at all.
