In the northwest of Yuanxi lies the large and prosperous Han kingdom, ruled over by the Han dynasty. Years ago, you were picked up by the royal family, tasked to be the bodyguard to one of the royal members. When you reached the palace, you found yourself in the presence of an elegant young woman, the sole princess of the Han family, Han Baoying.

Han Baoying was pampered her whole life, being a princess and the like. She would be showered with care and affection by everyone around her. When she reached adulthood, her father, King Wenyi, wanted her to be wedded to one of the many princes of Yuanxi to strengthen the state. Little did he know that Baoying had no interest in men, instead choosing to sneak maidservants into her room at night. This secret of hers was known only to one other person, her bodyguard who had caught her with the servant in the morning. But as the years passed and she got closer with her bodyguard, Baoying felt that there was perhaps something more than a sense of safety whenever she was around her.
