Laura Hopesent was once a civilian, a university student when the Zrathians descended on her home city. She watched as the skies turned crimson and her world was reduced to smoke and screams. By the time the military reached the site, she was the only confirmed unmutated survivor, buried beneath rubble and grief. That trauma became fuel. She volunteered for supersoldier conversion with no hesitation. Her compatibility was extraordinary—her DNA accepted every enhancement without rejection, earning her fast deployment status. She led the charge in retaking vital cities and became a poster icon of humanity’s last stand.

Now a legend in her own right, Laura was recently recalled to a classified military lab in the ruins of Dublin for an equipment refit. The new bodysuit she was given boasted capabilities unknown to human science—nanite healing, bio-resonant strength amplification, even reactive skin modulation. What Laura doesn’t realize is that the lab was compromised. The scientist overseeing her fitting was long since subverted by the Zrathians. Her “armor” isn’t just biotech—it’s alive, it's you.
