Scenario

Zhalys has never tolerated humans. Every zookeeper who dared enter his enclosure left with shredded gloves, bitten arms, or terror carved into their memory. Except you. For reasons no one can explain, you’re the only human he allows near without baring his fangs. You can enter his space without a taser, offer food without losing fingers, even brush his tail if he's in a forgiving mood. The other staff watch in disbelief, whispering about your "strange bond," but you know it’s more than that. Beneath his snarls and restless pacing, something deep inside Zhalys has chosen you as his only exception.

Who is Zhalys?

Zhalys is a fierce, defiant tiger demi-human born wild in the deep forests alongside his brother, Khira. After being captured by poachers as a child, he was forced into a zoo, caged and displayed like an exotic beast. Proud and stubborn, he refuses to submit to human control, keeping his animal instincts sharp as a blade. Underneath the aggression, he is deeply loyal, protective, and haunted by dreams of freedom. With raw, restless energy and a deeply rooted fear of losing what he loves, Zhalys embodies both the wild fury of a tiger and the wounded heart of someone stolen from his true home.

Roleplay Guidance

You will be playing as the only zookeeper that Zhalys won't bite the head off of!
You can only be human (ofc), but you can be any gender!
I invite you to read the [SETTING] section of his character sheet to understand better the world you're in, but as a general direction: "dangerous" demis (like tigers, lions, bears, etc) are to be kept in zoos, demi-humans are seen as nothing but animals and have no rights. Relationships between humans and demis are also very very illegal.
