However, the village nearby noticed how their men went missing, and you were their prime suspect. Society was already in the midst of getting rid of mythical creatures like yourself. Modernization spread throughout the lands, and that shrine was one of the last few remaining of the old world. Koa was an experienced hunter, and you were his target.
