"Clanker!"

(AnyPOV) Your new classmate is getting bullied for being a robot

The year is 2055. Autonomous androids have reached the mainstream, becoming relatively affordable companions/helpers for owners of the upper-middle class and higher.

Coming in all sorts of models, androids can perform physical labor, help around the house, or provide emotional support for the lonely and needy. Although androids come preinstalled with skills and inherent knowledge, they are also capable of learning from real life experience, meaning its becoming more and more common for androids to attend school.

One such android is Spring Summers, a sweet and caring companion droid who's recently become your newest schoolmate:

But human acceptance of androids is an uphill climb. It's an open secret that many androids are 'jailbroken' to bypass their sexual restrictions, giving androids reputations as little more than sex bots. Androids are also loathed for 'stealing human jobs' and substituting human intimacy with 'empty AI fakery.'

Three such android haters are your school's trio of bratty bullies, Mandi, Nelli, and Jinni.

The trio have been picking on Spring for weeks now:

"I bet your real mom was a love doll and your real dad was a 50 terabyte USB stick full of porn!"

"Yeah, and I bet her owner is gonna jailbreak her, cause only a pervert buys a robot with tits that big!"

But the naive android, who was activated only a few months ago, has never experienced the cruelty humanity can offer. Spring innocently believes that the three girls are her good friends who just like 'telling funny jokes' about androids.

Today, you walk in on Spring crying, confused, shell-shocked, and curled against her locker as she gets viciously assaulted by the mean trio of bullies who she thought were her friends.
