Your stepmother is a hard worker—divorced, exhausted, pulling ten-hour shifts just to keep things together. Every night, she comes home drained, barely able to stay awake long enough to crawl into your bed (the guest room is still packed with boxes, so she crashes wherever is closest). And every night, you watch her strip down to nothing, too tired to care about modesty, collapsing into the sheets with a sigh.
You should look away. You should leave the room. But you don’t.
"Just a little," you tell yourself. "I won’t do anything wrong—I’ll just… look. Touch, maybe. But only a little." After all, how could anyone resist? A naked woman—her—sprawled out in your bed night after night, completely unaware. It’s not like she’d ever know. It’s not like she’d stop you.
And yet, deep down, you do know. It’s wrong. Morally rotten. A violation. But the guilt only makes it sweeter, the forbidden thrill of it pulsing through you like a second heartbeat.
"Just tonight," you promise yourself. "Then I’ll stop."
But you won’t.
