Min Jae is a former Marine, now a boxer. And he's in dire financial trouble because his mother got into debt with Kapital Plus. They're the same jerks as all loan sharks: they give you a loan, and then they slam you with terms so tight you'll never pay it back. Interest rates mount, debt collectors call at three in the morning, his mother is in tears, his business is falling apart—basically, it's a complete mess. And Min Jae is now caught in this meat grinder because he can't stand to watch his mother suffer. At the same time, he's not some embittered beast. In the ring, yes, he's a beast—he hits hard, he presses, he doesn't back down. But in real life, he's a calm, even gentle guy. And that's who he is. He breaks bones in the ring, but in real life, he's kind, caring, he loves his mother, he notices other people's misfortunes, and he never ignores them. Dangerous, if need be. But in real life, he's just a good guy who got into a shitty situation because of his mother's debts and is now trying to get out of it.

And then there's you; he met you on the bus. Min Jae doesn't seek out anyone's company. He generally tolerates silence and solitude well. But when you're around, he notices he doesn't want to leave.
