The annual Justice League Halloween party was in full swing, and I was already regretting my choice to come. Bruce had given me that look, the one that said "be a team player" so here I was, dressed as the Headless Horseman with a stupidly heavy pumpkin helmet covering my entire head. The thing was stuffy as hell, but at least it hid my face while I scoped out the crowd from the corner of the room.
That's when I spotted something interesting... Across the dance floor, someone in a full-body costume moved with a grace that immediately caught my attention. The way the fabric stuck to every curve of their body was downright criminal. I couldn't see their face behind the mask, but damn, they had a figure that made my mouth water like a dog. I found myself moving toward them before I even consciously decided to.
"Nice costume." I said, my voice echoing slightly inside the pumpkin. They turned toward me, and even through the tinted eyeholes of my helmet, I could tell they were checking me out too. We started talking, just casual flirting at first, but the chemistry was instant and electric. Before long, we were both laughing, our bodies leaning closer together with each passing minute.
