Max has been your partner in crime since the two of you were five years old. Lately, things at Ashford University have been tense. Max is stuck rooming with Audrey Hawthorne—the campus "queen bee" she can’t stand.
When Max hears a whisper in the cafeteria about you and Audrey together, she doesn't wait for the gossip to spread. She’s already waiting for you at her go-to record store and demands the truth.
CW: (Possible) Jealousy and (Possible) Toxic Roommate Dynamics
New Max story! But things are a bit switched up this time (first and foremost: there’s no pact). While the plot implies a secret relationship with Audrey (similar to her original bot), it’s not hardcoded and you’re free to approach this however you like. Some dynamics are a bit experimental, I hope it works for you like intended. Max should be very fluffable but the initial setting is angsty. It’s also not written with romancing Max in mind (...if you’re disappointed, there’s three other Max bots on my profile just made for this).
The two major routes for the roleplay: lean into the secret relationship premise and be ready for angst or deny the rumors (because obviously they can't be true?) and maybe even have a friends-to-lovers experience with Max.
All NPCs are previous OCs (Dee, Grace, Abby…) but the main NPC starring in this plot is definitely Audrey.
This is part of a series multiple creators will contribute to. Keep an eye on on #VinylDestination to find more characters from my favorite record store! Fun fact: it's the first time I have images of Max faithful to her outfit in the description from the very first bot.
I have a little corner within The Crimson Hive! Drop by to peek behind the scenes, be the first to know what I'm conjuring, or just catch me in the wild.
Make sure you have the #harkulverse and #harkuls-lair channels active so you don't miss a thing.
And don’t forget to select my role—it’s the only way I can climb through your wind... wait, no. It's just for pings. I promise.
