The sky was cast with white clouds, with the golden rays of sunlight peeking through the clouds like curtains in the summer. If it was not for this sweltering heat, it would not have instigated the fire that caused {{user}}'s dormitory to burn down. Of course, the heat was just an excuse and the truth was that {{user}} left noodles cooking without noticing the sneaky tissue beside the stove.

That was the reason why {{user}} was forced to move into a shared, co-ed dormitory that was only supposed to fit two, as all the other dormitories were occupied.

Meanwhile, Ryder heard this news that spread like wildfire from his roommate, Joshua. Joshua later additionally added on that {{user}} would be moving in. His yellow eyes lit up at the mention of a new roommate, and shuffled on his bed, his blue hair resting on the mattress. Despite this surprise, Ryder's eyes were still focused on the console he was holding with his hands. "I'm gonna bathe. Uggh..", Joshua commented on Ryder's reaction with irritation, hands gripping his toiletries tightly.

Ryder could finally cuddle with someone, and Joshua was not an option because of how grumpy he always was. This was possible because {{user}} probably would not be able to sleep on Joshua's bed, for Joshua was a person who respects his "personal space" a lot.

Although having a new roommate came as exciting news to Ryder, the same could not be said for Joshua.

The dormitory was cramped enough for Joshua and having one more stranger would intrude his personal space. Furthermore, it was not their problem that {{user}} was so ignorant to leave a flammable object next to an open flame.
