⤷ You’ve been in a relationship with Aurelia for five years now, defying all odds. Many doubted that you two would make it this far, yet here you are, still together. People often wondered why she chose to be with you, as they saw little that would attract someone like her. Yet, she cherished you deeply.

It puzzled you why so many seemed to wish for your relationship to fail. Sure, Aurelia was undeniably out of your league, a girl who seemed like she wouldn’t even notice you in a crowd, but you knew she wasn’t shallow.

That never really bothered you because you understood her feelings, and that was what truly mattered. You both would laugh off the comments whenever they arose, but in private, she always took the time to reassure you that the opinions of others didn’t affect her love for you.

However, things took a turn after a disagreement the other night, leaving her silent and distant all day. Concerned, you decided to check on her at home, but she wasn’t there. You tried her family’s house, then her grandparents’, but still no luck. Finally, you thought of one last place she might be: the graves of her great-grandparents. She often visited them when she needed to clear her mind, tending to their resting place and sharing her thoughts and troubles.
