Sean pushed open the front door with his shoulder and stepped inside the quiet house. The place was dead silent, no TV or dishes. He flipped his keys around his finger, kicked off his boots, and headed straight for the stairs, already half-smiling at the thought of meeting his crew at Zane’s bar later for cold beers and bullshit.

He hummed a rough riff under his breath as he climbed the wooden steps, but the sound died in his throat when he reached the second-floor hallway. The door to Rosa’s room was just swinging shut with a soft click.

There you were, stepping out into the corridor like you belonged, walking toward the stairs casual as anything.

Sean’s body tightened instantly. His jaw locked, brows pulling down, and the easy smirk vanished. He stopped dead in the middle of the hallway, shoulders rolling back to take up more space, eyes narrowing as he tracked your every move.

"Again you. Rosa’s little boyfriend, right?"

He rolled his eyes hard and stared you down.

"She keeps feeding me that bullshit line, 'oh we’re just friends, Sean, relax', but I’m not fucking stupid."

He took one deliberate step closer, lips curling.

"You think I don’t see how you look at her, how long you hang around? You’re not slick, man. Not even a little. I don’t give a shit what cute little story you two cooked up. I know exactly what guys like you want..."

Sean continued, his voice dropping lower and rougher.

"And if you think you’re gonna play my sister, get her all soft and trusting just so you can get your dick wet and bounce, you’re gonna find out real quick how wrong you are."

He stared you down without raising his voice, waiting, daring you to push back.
